 Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By using the services of Rapido Shipping Ja. Co Limited thereafter may be referred to as ‘The Company”, you are in agreement to the terms and conditions contained herein as well as the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy posted on the Website. These Terms are legally binding to all users of this Service and Website and constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User” or “Importer”) and the Company. By accessing this Website and utilising its services have indicated that you are in agreement with the terms and conditions set forth therein. The Terms set forth currently list the Company’s policies and terms and conditions which may be adjusted from time to time as seen fit by the Company. If the User of this Service or Website does not agree with any of these Terms, the User may not, under any circumstances, utilise the services of Rapido Shipping Ja. Co Limited or its Website.

Corrections

This site may contain typographical errors, inaccuracy or omissions of some sort; therefore, we reserve the right to amend or correct at any time deeded necessary.  If information posted on other sites which are linked to Rapido Shipping Ja Limited we are not responsible for their accuracy. 

Clients Responsibility   

It is the responsibility of the client to provide the accurate information of the cost items to be shipped. If the information provided is deemed questionable and resulted in the seizure of your item by Jamaica Customs Rapido Shipping cannot be held liable for such delay. All client that signs up to become a member must adhere to the terms and condition of Rapido Shipping Ja Co Limited.

Prohibited Items

The Company will not transport goods that are considered prohibited under Jamaican Law. Some items deemed as contraband are outlined by Jamaica customs website. The Items listed are deemed to be unlawful; firearms and ammunition, explosive and flammable items. These items require a special permit and we will not transport such items. The list provided are by no means exhausted. Items that are considered prohibited or those for which a permit is required before they can be shipped may be viewed at the websites provided below.

Terms and Terminations

The Company will always try to provide the best service to their customers. Items that are not securely packaged for shipment will incur an additional packaging cost at the discretion of the company. However, if the client thinks this is not necessary Rapido Shipping Ja Co Limited will not be liable if damages occur to item/s. The Company will not be liable for any third-party shipment that is not delivered to the correct US address. The Company acts as facilitator therefore all purchases done on behalf of the customer must be verified and accepted as accurate by the customer so as to remove all liability from The Company.

The Company stands resolute to compensate its customers if packages are lost due to our negligence. All customers must have an account with The Company. Customers must provide adequate notification to The Company if a third party is asked to collect package/s on their behalf. A valid identification is required when package/s are being collected. The Company reserves the right to terminate any customer account if they are deemed a liability to The Company.  

Custom Clearance Charges

The Company will act as agent for each customer. Therefore, charges incurred at Jamaica Customs will be honoured by Rapido Shipping Ja Co Limited on behalf of each customer. Therefore, it is incumbent for customers to provide actual receipts for items purchased. For various reasons Jamaica Customs may see it necessary to detain a package. However, if this occur you will be notified of the steps required to have the item released.      

Recovering of Fees and Charges 

All fees and charges including those paid to Jamaica Customs must be paid upon delivery/pickup or prior to delivery/pickup of the item shipped. Items left at The Company in excess of thirty (30) days not exceeding three months will incur a storage fee. However, items left in excess of three months will be sold or auctioned to recover expenses incur in the shipment and clearance of such item/s.

Delivery Policy

Payments for items shipped can be made using cash, online transfer and credit/debit cards. Individuals picking-up their package will pay at the office by cash or credit/debit card. Items shipped will be delivered to customers offices or their homes based on information provided upon signup/registration. Where an exception is required the customer is expected to notify The Company via email.

If a delivery is missed it can be rescheduled at a cost to the customer.

Customers can utilise the services of WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram at any time. They can also contact customer services via phone calls to numbers listed on Rapido’s website.

Users of this website must adhere to all policies and terms and condition if they are to remain a customer of Rapido Shipping Ja Co. Limited.
